NEXT LEVEL
MAGICKA TEMPLAR
PURPOSE
This is a very strong Magicka Templar PVE build that uses NO trial or mythic gear and is capable of parsing around close to 100k DPS with a simple rotation! This will be a perfect step to push yourself out of your comfort zone with bar swapping.

IMPORTANT: You want a total of 4 medium and 3 light pieces. You can mix/match any way.
Suggested light pieces: Gloves, Boots, and Belt.

ABILITIES - FRONT BAR

Mages
This passively buffs you with more maximum magicka increasing your damage and Major Prophecy increasing your critical strike rating.

Fighters
This is a trap you place at the enemies feet. It does damage over time to the enemy and also buffs you with Minor Force, increasing your Critical Damage by 10%. It also increases your weapon damage by 3% from the Fighter's Guild passive: Slayer

Aedric Spear
This is your pain spammable. It does both single and aoe damage, heals you, and slows enemies.

Fighters
This passively buffs you with Major Savagery and Minor Berserk when you land a critical strike from an enemies flank, increasing your Critical Damage by 5%. It also increases your weapon damage by 3% from the Fighter's Guild passive: Slayer.

Dawn's Wrath
This is a debuff that does a bit of initial damage, then copies damage and explodes for a burst of additional damage after 6 seconds. It also heals you and allies for 6 seconds after it expires.

Mages
This causes a comet to crash down on the enemy dealing damage to all enemies in the area, reduces their movement speed, and leaves behind aoe damage to the area for 11 seconds.
ABILITIES - BACK BAR

Mages
This passively buffs you with more maximum magicka increasing your damage and Major Prophecy increasing your critical strike rating.

Fighters
Any Fighter's Guild ability. This is here only for the Slayer passive for more spell damage.

Two Handed
Charges at an enemy dealing damage to the target and leaving behind a ground aoe damaging all enemies inside.

Dawn's Wrath
This pulses out aoe damage from your body and buffs you with Empower, increasing your light attack damage by 40%

Restoring Light
This places a rune on the ground which greatly increases your resistances with the buff Major Resolve and enables you to recover 242 magicka every second. Standing inside the rune will also heal you over time.

Mages
This causes a comet to crash down on the enemy dealing damage to all enemies in the area, reduces their movement speed, and leaves behind aoe damage to the area for 11 seconds.
ROTATION
(Start on the Back Bar)
OPEN WITH: Potion, Channeled Focus, Stampede, Solar Barrage, Ultimate, Bar Swap, Barbed Trap
ROTATION: Purifying Light>Puncturing Sweep x5. In place of a Puncturing Sweep, refresh Barbed Trap, Solar Barrage, and Stampede as they expire and use Ice Comet as it becomes available.
